She rode it maybe 6 times and then on 25 June 2004 something happened and her whole bike fell apart. She had to wear a cast on her elbow and she had big bruises all over the front of her body. We spent 4 hours in the Emergency. The fellow in the store got us another bike after he gave us some flak. He never did ask us how she was. If you would like we could email you some pictures. She is very leary to ride a bike again. She is 12 years old. She was very lucky that she had a helmut on and that she was not in traffic. Deon, the fellow that talked to said the error was in the manufacturing end. Just thought that you would like to know this.
